From March 14 to 15, 2026, the 2026 WAR HORSE Xiamen (Tong’an) Trail Race by UTMB® officially kicked off at Fantian Cultural Square in Tong’an District, Xiamen, and concluded successfully. As the opening race of the UTMB® World Series in mainland China this year, the event was exclusively title-sponsored by WAR HORSE Energy Vitamin Drink, attracting over 6,000 trail running enthusiasts from more than 30 countries and regions. Runners gathered in Tong’an, Xiamen to race and compete across mountains and coastlines.

WAR HORSE empowered the event through a comprehensive end-to-end energy support system—from professional content creation and elite team participation to full-course on-site replenishment—fully embodying the brand philosophy，“War Horse, Your Natural Choice for Taste and Energy” and establishing WAR HORSE as a powerful support on the trail.

Following its successful debut support of the UTMB® World Series event in Xiamen Tong’an in 2025, WAR HORSE once again returned as the exclusive title sponsor in 2026, further elevating the event in partnership with the organizers. The race featured four categories—LXM 100km, MXM 50km, SXM 20km, and EXM 10km—covering a full spectrum from elite competition to beginner experience, allowing runners of all levels to embrace the unique charm of trail running.

Elite athletes delivered one of the most exciting highlights of the race, with WAR HORSE Energy Team runners standing out on the course. In the 100km category, team member Zhao Jiaju and Spanish athlete Ionel Cristian Manole crossed the finish line side by side with an identical time of 09:52:25, sharing the men’s championship title and recreating last year’s iconic victory moment—once again demonstrating the elite competitive strength powered by WAR HORSE. Another team member, Lin Shaochuan, also delivered an impressive performance, finishing 9th in the highly competitive 100km category.

To help more runners experience the professionalism of trail running and enhance their competitive performance, WAR HORSE launched the “WAR HORSE Energy Class” and “WAR HORSE Energy Team” initiatives as early as January, building an integrated online-to-offline professional empowerment system. Online, WAR HORSE invited renowned coaches and elite runners such as Wei Biao, Zhao Jiaju, and Xiang Fuzhao to deliver four premium training sessions covering key topics including scientific conditioning, uphill techniques, downhill pacing, and course reconnaissance—effectively addressing common challenges in race preparation and participation, and becoming a “professional charging hub” for trail runners.

Offline, WAR HORSE hosted activities such as Energy Breakfast Runs and Energy Classroom meetups, allowing participants to experience the race atmosphere in advance, exchange insights, and build momentum ahead of race day.
