On April 19th, 2019, the youth art experiment program, The Glory Youth, with War Horse Energy Vitamin Beverage as the exclusive title sponsor, was launched on BRTV, marking the beginning of a youth adventure.
In order to assist the Beijing Olympic Winter Games and respond to the call "to encourage 300 million people to practice winter sports", director Zhang Yimou has selected talented and good-looking young people across China through the program and has carried out an experiment on art and youth dialogue. Through three months of investigation and experience, and six brutal interviews and assessments, several outstanding young people have finally stood out and stepped onto the stage of the Center for the Performing Arts, and became practitioners of artistic concept performance together with Director Zhang Yimou. From ordinary to extraordinary, these young people take this public performance as an oath to display their most beautiful youth.
The program reflects a full spirit of innovation in terms of presentation methods, competition forms, etc. The process of selecting actors is not limited to one pattern. A variety of themes are adopted to test the adaptability, creativity and expressiveness of actors, allowing the audience to see the strength of these young people, and their dedication and passion for their dreams.
